Caseflow Licence Guidelines | Print |

Caseflow licencing comprises three areas;

  • Server licenced components
  • User licenced components
  • Add-on modules

Server

Server Licence permits the organisation to deploy a single copy of the server module or component on a single computer at a single location.

Each Server Licence supports a maximum of 100 user connections.  Depending on your hardware capacity and performance, multiple Server Licences can be installed on a single server machine.

Named User

Named User Licence model is used for the ShowClause Client, Acumen Client, Acumen Plus Client and the Acumen Insight Extranet Client.  Within the Caseflow User Access module, each user can be allocated one or more client licences up to the maximum number of licences purchased in each category.

Add-on Modules

Add-on Modules are licenced on a 'whole of site' basis with the exception of Additional Developer Licences that are licenced on a 'per-developer' basis.

The cost of each Add-on Module is expressed as a percentage uplift on the value of the Base Software at each site.  The Base Software value is the sum of all Server and Named User licences.

For example, the cost of adding the Vision-DMS modules to a site is calculated as a percentage of the entire Base Software at the site regardless of the actual number of users that intend making use of it.
