A Caseflow SQL Database will occupy between 250mb and 500mb for typical sites. Extremely large installations comprising tens of thousands of matters and millions of chronology entries will see the database grow to several Gigabytes. Typically, the Caseflow database can be installed on the same server as your Practice Management or Document Management Systems and will impose only marginally on the performance.

If the implementation is departmental and there are no other SQL Database servers present, then a workstation class machine running Windows 2003 Server with 2Gb of RAM and mirrored hard disks would suffice.

 

Caseflow supports the following SQL Databases;

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2000
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008
  • Oracle - call to confirm exact version
